85 degree Studio Today

This sculpture is in progress. The studio was about 85 degrees today. I arrived about 7:30 am. I lasted until 11:00 am. The air quality was dismal with the imported smoke from the Canadian fires. Apparently Chicago’s air was even worse. Global warming seems to be here. I am most grateful to have access to this studio. It is a science classroom on the second floor of an old Catholic school elementary school. I rented the space for about 6 years. Habitat for Humanity has an office next to me.
