Matthew Kowalski is guiding me with an introduction to piano (keyboard). We played the background music for this video of the glass assemblages exhibited at the 106 Gallery in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Matthew is a very gifted musician and visual artist. He is expanding zones of my brain with this keyboard. My fingers do not seem to want to cooperate since I am total novice to the keyboard. He worked with me in the studio which was about 84 degrees.
Matthew and I take turns working on our respective artworks together pretty consistently once a week. I go to his garage studio one week. Matthew shares my studio one day the following week. The arrangement has been going on for about a year. I work on drawings when I am at his garage studio. I greatly appreciate the relationship as artists/healers.
