Laurel Izard and I completely enjoyed the opening at the 106 Gallery in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Laurel’s quilts are on the walls. My assemblages are presented on pedestals. The gallery is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Eastern time. The exhibition ends July 24.

I need to figure out a title. The drawing is acrylic paint, color pencil, charcoal, graphite, India ink, matte medium, etc. I completely enjoy the layers of drawing materials creating the layers of illusion of space. The term “horror vacui” also seems to apply to my new drawing. The dimensions are about 19” x 15”.
